Just Wondering

Jobs---Check.

A store full of fresh fruits and vegetables---Check.

Partnering in key community inititives---Check.

Tax Revenue---Check.

So why can't this Walmart get built?

If you want this store to get the go-ahead, you might want to start by starting a petition and posting the link on this site.

Go to http://www.ipetitions.com/start-petition/ and follwo the steps, then post the link to your particular petition on this blog. Send the link to other bloggers in your area who are with you on this.

Write the alderman involved and advise readers and other bloggers to do the same. Help them out by posting links to the alderman's office.

It won't get built because Walmart is rabidly anti-union, and the unions still have some say in Chicago.
